Dong Nai - The water level of Tri An hydropower reservoir on the morning of September 2nd reached an elevation of nearly 56m.

According to Tri An Hydropower Company, as of 6 am on September 2, the water flow to Tri An reservoir is reaching 1,140m3/s, raising the reservoir water level to nearly 56m, the total discharge flow to downstream is 375m3/s, and the downstream water level is 2.7m.

Previously, the electricity output on September 1st at Tri An Hydropower Company reached more than 1.9 million kWh.

Tri An Hydropower Plant has 4 units, with a total designed capacity of 400MW. This is the largest hydropower project in the Southern region, making a great contribution to the national power grid, helping to regulate domestic water sources, production, push saline and regulate floods for the downstream area.

The downstream area of Tri An hydropower plant is an area located along the Dong Nai River basin stretching across Dong Nai City, Ho Chi Minh City.
