The water level of many hydropower reservoirs in the Northern region is lower than the normal water level, while the amount of water flowing into the reservoir has a large difference.

According to updated data at 3:10 pm on August 30, Tuyen Quang Lake has an upstream water level of 110.12 m, a normal water level of 120 m; water inflow to the lake is 761 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 291.31 m, 295 m lower than the normal water level. The inflow to the lake reached 1,564 m3/s, with a total discharge volume of 1,564 m3/s.

Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 471.68 m, a normal water level of 475 m; water inflow to the lake is 254 m3/s.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 368.98 m, close to the normal water level of 370 m; water inflow to the lake is 73 m3/s.

Son La Lake has a water level of 205.89 m, which is 215 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 2,683 m3/s, total discharge is 1,495 m3/s.

Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 105.39 m, 117 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 769 m3/s, total discharge is 247 m3/s.

Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 54.52 m, 58 m lower than the normal water level; water inflow to the lake is 327 m3/s.
