According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 13:00 on March 14, in the Northwest region, Son La Lake had an upstream water level of 214.75 m, approaching the normal water level (215 m). The water flow to the lake is about 1,085 m3/s, the total discharge through the plant is 945 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake recorded a water level of 114.29 m, lower than the normal water level (117 m). Water flow to the lake is 1,480 m3/s, total discharge is 353 m3/s through the plant for power generation.
Some other lakes on the Da River system also maintain power generation operation.
Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 294.43 m, inflow to the lake 288 m3/s, total discharge volume 183 m3/s. Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.4 m, total discharge volume 374 m3/s, while Ban Chat Lake discharges 256 m3/s through the plant.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 114.56 m, a water inflow rate of 50 m3/s and has not yet discharged water.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba Lake recorded an upstream water level of 55 m, a water inflow to the lake of about 80 m3/s and has not yet discharged water.
