According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 4:00 PM on June 13, in the Northwest region, the water flow to the reservoir continued to be high. Hoa Binh Lake recorded water flow to the reservoir reaching 2,688 m3/s, while the total discharge flow was 1,954 m3/s. Son La Lake has a flow to the reservoir of 2,287 m3/s, the total discharge through the plant is 3,063 m3/s.
Lai Chau, Ban Chat and Huoi Quang reservoirs also maintained power generation with total discharge flows of 915 m3/s, 263 m3/s and 340 m3/s respectively.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 98.14 m, 21.86 m lower than the normal water level; water inflow to the reservoir reached 50 m3/s and has not been discharged.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water inflow rate of 328 m3/s, with a total discharge rate of 430 m3/s. Khe Bo Lake maintains a total discharge rate of 95.5 m3/s, while Ban Ve Lake and Quang Tri Lake do not discharge water.
In the South Central Coast, most reservoirs have low water flow. A Vuong reservoir discharges 27 m3/s, Song Bung 4 reservoir discharges 50 m3/s, Vinh Son A reservoir discharges 7.19 m3/s. Song Tranh 2 and Ba Ha reservoirs have not discharged water even though water is still flowing into the reservoirs.
The Central Highlands region recorded some reservoirs operating for electricity generation with remarkable discharge flow rates such as Se San 3A discharging 250 m3/s, Dong Nai 4 discharging 95.77 m3/s, Dong Nai 3 discharging 70.51 m3/s. An Khe Lake is opening 1 surface discharge gate with a spillway flow rate of 8 m3/s, total discharge reaching 25.2 m3/s. Buon Kuop Lake opens 1 deep discharge gate, total discharge rate of 15.2 m3/s.
In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water inflow rate of 350 m3/s and a total discharge through the plant reaching 908 m3/s. The upstream water level of the lake is currently at 54.85 m, 7.15 m lower than the normal water level.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 13, the delta and midland areas of the Northern region will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest daily temperature commonly 35-36 degrees Celsius, and in some places above 37 degrees Celsius.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest daily temperature commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 38 degrees Celsius.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions will have showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially in the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
