On June 12, the water level at most hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands region continued to be lower than the normal water level.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 10:00 AM on June 12, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had an upstream water level of 157.34m, 2.66m lower than the normal water level.

Ban Ve Lake reached 175.26m, 24.74m lower; Khe Bo Lake is at 63.94m, only 1.06m lower than the design threshold.

Quang Tri Lake recorded a water level of 464.98m, 15.02m lower than the normal water level.

In the South Central Coast, many reservoirs continue to maintain low water levels. A Vuong reservoir reached 360.78m, 19.22m lower; Song Bung 2 reservoir reached 586.86m, 18.14m lower; Song Bung 4 reservoir was at 213.25m, 9.25m lower than the normal water level.

Reservoirs in the Vinh Son system recorded water levels 6-8m lower than the design threshold. Specifically, Vinh Son A reached 768.83m, Vinh Son B reached 819.41m and Vinh Son C reached 972.68m.

Song Tranh 2 reservoir is currently at 158.78m, 16.22m lower; Song Ba Ha reservoir reaches 102.78m, 2.22m lower; Song Hinh reservoir reaches 204.19m, 4.81m lower than the normal water level.

In the Central Highlands, some lakes are approaching normal water levels such as Se San 3 (303.76/304.5m), Se San 3A (238.78/239m), Dong Nai 4 (475.6/476m), Srepok 3 (271.38/272m) and Da Mi (323.82/325m).

Meanwhile, many lakes are still significantly lower than the design threshold such as Thuong Kon Tum (1144.18/1160m), Pleikrong (548.37/570m), Ialy (496.34/515m), Buon Tua Srah (472.39/487.5m), Dong Nai 3 (572.24/590m) and Ham Thuan (583.22/605m).

According to operating data, most reservoirs do not discharge spillways. Only some reservoirs discharge through spillways with small flow rates such as An Khe 8m3/s and Buon Kuop 14.85m3/s.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 12, the Northern and North Central regions will be sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places with the highest temperature commonly around 31 - 34 degrees Celsius, and in some places above 35 degrees Celsius.
