According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 16:00 on June 2, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had an upstream water level of 154.46m, 5.54m lower than the normal water level. Ban Ve Lake was at 177.01m, nearly 23m lower; Khe Bo Lake reached 63.99m, approaching the normal water level of 65m.
Quang Tri Lake recorded a water level of 466.99m, 13m lower than the normal water level, the inflow to the lake is only 2m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, many reservoirs have low water inflow. A Vuong reservoir receives 9.17m3/s, Song Bung 2 reaches 2.95m3/s, Song Bung 4 reaches 12.94m3/s and Song Tranh 2 reaches 5.72m3/s.
Vinh Son A, Vinh Son B and Vinh Son C reservoirs only recorded water inflows below 1m3/s.
Some lakes have approached the normal water level, such as Song Ba Ha reaching 103.19m/105m, Song Hinh reaching 204.74m/209m and Vinh Son A reaching 769.46m/775m.
In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has the largest water inflow in the region with 320m3/s. Pleiku Lake discharges 300m3/s through the power plant, while Dong Nai 4 Lake recorded a water inflow of 205.61m3/s and a total discharge of 203.08m3/s.
Notably, An Khe Lake is operating 1 surface discharge gate with a flow rate of 8m3/s. Buon Kuop Lake opens 1 deep discharge gate, the total discharge rate reaches 83.46m3/s, of which 15.46m3/s is through the spillway dam.
The remaining reservoirs basically do not discharge through spillways and maintain stable operation.
