The water level and inflow to the reservoirs at most hydropower reservoirs across the country are low, many reservoirs continue to generate electricity and do not discharge overflows.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:00 on April 14, in the Northern region, large reservoirs on the Da River system continued to operate power generation with quite high flow. Hoa Binh Lake recorded water inflow to the reservoir reaching 1,174 m3/s, total discharge volume 1,722 m3/s, all through the plant.

Son La Lake receives 93 m3/s and generates electricity 970 m3/s. Tuyen Quang Lake has a flow rate of 50 m3/s, generating electricity 628.15 m3/s.

Meanwhile, Lai Chau, Ban Chat and Huoi Quang reservoirs have not generated electricity at the time of update. Thac Ba Lake generates electricity at 300.46 m3/s.

In the North Central region, the water inflow to the reservoir is maintained at a low level. Trung Son Lake has a flow rate of 29 m3/s, generating 86 m3/s; Khe Bo Lake generates 169.7 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake and Quang Tri Lake have not yet discharged water.

The South Central Coast region recorded many reservoirs operating at a moderate level.

A Vuong Lake has the same flow and power generation rate of 39.7 m3/s. Song Bung 4 Lake generates electricity at 44 m3/s; Song Ba Ha Lake generates 120 m3/s; Song Hinh Lake generates 53.28 m3/s. Many other lakes almost do not discharge or discharge at very low levels.

In the Central Highlands, some reservoirs maintain low to medium level of power generation. Pleikrông reservoir generates 226 m3/s of electricity; Sê San 4 reservoir generates 185 m3/s of electricity; Sê San 3 reservoir generates 68 m3/s of electricity. The remaining reservoirs mainly have not discharged or discharge very little.

In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir recorded water inflow reaching 130 m3/s and has not yet discharged water.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for April 14th, the Northwest region will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest common temperature of 35-37 degrees C, in some places above 37 degrees C.

The Northeast region has localized hot sun with the highest temperature in some places above 35 degrees Celsius.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Hue City has intense and especially intense heat; the common temperature is 38-40 degrees Celsius, with some places above 40 degrees Celsius.

Da Nang city area and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are hot and intensely hot; common temperature 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
