The water level and flow to hydropower reservoirs nationwide are low to medium, some reservoirs are generating electricity with quite large discharge through the plant.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 3:00 PM on April 11, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake had an upstream water level of 113.77m, 6.23m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake was 50 m3/s, and the total discharge through the plant was 620.03 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, large reservoirs on the Da River continue to generate electricity. Lai Chau Lake water level is 288.82m, inflow to the reservoir is 95 m3/s and has not been discharged.

Son La Lake has a water level of 210.83m, a flow rate of 92 m3/s, and a total discharge flow through the plant of 1,705 m3/s.

Hoa Binh Lake is at 114.27m, lower than the normal water level by 2.73m, the water flow to the lake is 94 m3/s and is generating electricity with a total discharge flow of 1,768 m3/s.

Thac Ba Lake water level 52.99m, not yet discharged for regulation.

In the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir recorded a water level of 154.27m, flow rate of 56 m3/s, discharge through the plant of 85 m3/s.

Khe Bo Lake has a discharge flow through the plant of 168 m3/s, while Ban Ve Lake and Quang Tri Lake have not yet regulated discharge.

In the South Central Coast region, most reservoirs have not discharged. A Vuong reservoir discharges through the plant 13.5 m3/s; Song Bung 4 reservoir discharges 50 m3/s; Vinh Son A reservoir discharges 9.72 m3/s; Song Hinh reservoir discharges 53.28 m3/s.

Song Bung 2, Song Tranh 2, and Ba Ha reservoirs are basically operating for power generation with small flow or have not been discharged.

In the Central Highlands, many reservoirs are generating electricity. Pleikrông reservoir discharges 226 m3/s; Ialy reservoir discharges 61 m3/s; Sê San 4 reservoir discharges 195 m3/s; Buôn Kuốp reservoir discharges 15 m3/s; Đồng Nai 3 reservoir discharges 93.8 m3/s. Some other reservoirs such as Sê San 3A, Kanak, Buôn Tua Srah have not yet regulated discharge.

In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water level of 59.34m, water inflow to the reservoir 160 m3/s and has not been discharged for regulation.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for April 11th, the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue City will have intense and especially intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 38-40 degrees C, with some places above 40 degrees C.
