Water level of some hydropower reservoirs in the North on September 14th

Many hydropower reservoirs in the Northern region are lower than the normal water level, some reservoirs are having remarkable discharge volumes such as Lai Chau, Son La, Hoa Binh.

According to data from the system updated at 3:10 PM on September 14, at Tuyen Quang reservoir, the upstream water level is at 116.18 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.82 m. The inflow to the reservoir is 217 m3/s, total discharge is 0 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has an upstream water level of 292.5 m, 2.5 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 680 m3/s, total discharge is 1,193 m3/s, all through the spillway dam.

Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 471.14 m, lower than the normal water level of 3.86 m. Inflow to the lake is 105 m3/s and total discharge is 0 m3/s.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake recorded an upstream water level of 368.7 m, 1.3 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake 39 m3/s, total discharge 0 m3/s.

At Son La reservoir, the upstream water level is at 211.32 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.68 m. Water flow to the reservoir is 721 m3/s, total discharge is 108 m3/s, through the spillway.

Hoa Binh Lake has an upstream water level of 109.69 m, 7.31 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 781 m3/s, total discharge is 239 m3/s, through the spillway.

Meanwhile, Thac Ba reservoir has an upstream water level of 55.06 m, lower than the normal water level by 2.94 m. Water inflow to the reservoir reached 245 m3/s, total discharge volume 0 m3/s.
