According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 10:15 am on February 22, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake had an upstream water level of 114.64 m, lower than the normal water level by 120 m; water inflow to the lake reached 50 m3/s, no discharge occurred.
In the Northwest region, reservoirs on the Da River system maintain strong power generation operation. Lai Chau reached 294.69 m, close to the normal water level of 295 m. Ban Chat at 455.71 m, discharging power 268 m3/s; Huoi Quang 369.73 m, discharging 263 m3/s.
Notably, Son La hydropower reservoir reached 214.5 m, inflow to the reservoir 361 m3/s, total discharge volume up to 1,111 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Hydropower Reservoir is at 112.99 m, flow rate of 522 m3/s, total discharge rate of 515 m3/s.
In the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir reached 159.13 m, discharging 75 m3/s; Ban Ve was at 195.41 m, no discharge occurred; Khe Bo 64.77 m, discharging 95.5 m3/s; Quang Tri 477.04 m, low flow to the reservoir.
In the South Central region, most reservoirs have water levels fluctuating below normal water levels. A Vuong reached 375.87 m, discharging 37.2 m3/s; Song Bung 4 at 221.41 m; Song Tranh 2 reached 173.53 m. Ba Ha River recorded a water level of 104.63 m, discharging and generating electricity 181 m3/s.
In the Central Highlands, many reservoirs operate with large flow rates such as Ialy 509.83 m, discharging 298 m3/s; Se San 3 reaching 304.12 m, discharging 360 m3/s; Se San 4 at 214.07 m, discharging 320 m3/s.
Reservoirs on the Dong Nai river system such as Dong Nai 3 and Dong Nai 4 maintain discharge for power generation over 170–200 m3/s.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir reached 61.62 m, close to the normal water level of 62 m; inflow to the reservoir 90 m3/s, no discharge has occurred.
