According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 16:00 on February 20, Tuyen Quang Lake recorded an upstream water level at an elevation of 114.48 m, lower than the normal water level by 120 m; water inflow to the lake reached 50 m3/s, not yet discharged through the spillway dam and the plant.
Lai Chau Lake has an upstream water level of 294.68 m, approaching the normal water level of 295 m, and a water inflow to the lake of 108 m3/s.
Ban Chat Lake is at 456.58 m, lower than the normal water level of 475 m, inflow to the lake 13 m3/s. Huoi Quang Lake is at an altitude of 370.04 m, higher than the normal water level of 370 m, inflow to the lake 5 m3/s.
Son La Lake recorded a water level of 214.63 m, lower than the normal water level by 215 m, and the water inflow to the lake reached 143 m3/s.
Similarly, Hoa Binh reservoir is at 112.71 m, lower than the normal water level by 117 m, water inflow to the reservoir is 442 m3/s; total discharge flow is 435 m3/s through the plant, no overflow discharge.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for February 20th, the Northern region has rain in some places, early morning fog and light fog scattered; especially mountainous and midland areas have scattered light rain at night and in the morning. Cold weather, mountainous areas have places with deep cold.
The Southern region is sunny during the day, especially the East has hot sunny places.
