The water level of hydropower reservoirs on July 24 has many fluctuations, of which Hoa Binh reservoir is discharging a total of 4,441 m3/s.

According to updated data at 7:00 AM on July 24, the water level of Hoa Binh reservoir was at 102.13 m, 117 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir reached 3,448 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 4,441 m3/s, of which discharged through the spillway was 1,510 m3/s and through the plant was 2,931 m3/s.

At Son La reservoir, the upstream water level reached 198.37 m, the water inflow to the reservoir was 2,995 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 3,192 m3/s, all through the plant.

Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 286.5 m, water inflow of 1,827 m3/s, total discharge of 1,647 m3/s. Ban Chat Lake is at 469.84 m, water inflow of 242 m3/s, total discharge of 246 m3/s. Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.73 m, water inflow of 334 m3/s, total discharge of 340 m3/s.

At Tuyen Quang Lake, the upstream water level is 106.4 m, the water flow to the lake is 2,040 m3/s, total discharge is 708.93 m3/s, all through the plant. Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 52.13 m, water flow to 480 m3/s, total discharge is 447.07 m3/s.

In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 149.38 m, inflow rate of 394 m3/s, total discharge rate of 121 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake is at 173.04 m, no discharge. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.48 m, inflow rate of 243.1 m3/s, total discharge rate of 95.5 m3/s. Quang Tri Lake is at 458.92 m, inflow rate of 5 m3/s, total discharge rate of 18 m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, A Vuong Lake has a water level of 352.05 m, no inflow and no discharge. Song Bung 2 Lake is at 576.89 m, inflow of 3.93 m3/s, no discharge. Song Bung 4 Lake has a water level of 209.3 m, no discharge.

Song Tranh 2 Lake has a water level of 151.2 m, water inflow of 41.86 m3/s, no discharge. Song Ba Ha Lake is at 102.72 m, water inflow of 39 m3/s, no discharge. Song Hinh Lake has a water level of 201.24 m, water inflow of 22.27 m3/s, total discharge of 53.28 m3/s.

In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 500.46 m, a water inflow of 289 m3/s, and a total discharge of 497 m3/s. Pleikrông Lake is at 544.72 m, a water inflow of 47 m3/s, and a total discharge of 262 m3/s.

Se San 3 Lake has a water level of 304.15 m, water inflow 510 m3/s, total discharge 467 m3/s. Se San 3A Lake is at 238.51 m, water inflow 493 m3/s, total discharge 509 m3/s. Se San 4 Lake has a water level of 212 m, water inflow 543 m3/s, total discharge 690 m3/s.

Some other reservoirs in the Central Highlands and Southeast are also operating for power generation and flow regulation. Tri An Lake has a water level of 51.1 m, a flow rate of 430 m3/s, a total discharge rate of 842 m3/s. Thac Mo Lake is at 200.82 m, a flow rate of 120.62 m3/s, a total discharge rate of 174 m3/s.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on July 24, the Northern region will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with locally very heavy rain.

The North Central region from tomorrow evening will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.

The Southern region has showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the late afternoon and night there are scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain in some places.
