According to updated data at 10:00 AM on July 25, the water level at large hydropower reservoirs across the country has fluctuated, many reservoirs are operating to generate electricity and regulate water through plants.
In the Northwest region, Hoa Binh reservoir has an upstream water level of 101.78 m, a normal water level of 117 m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 3,805 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 4,294 m3/s, of which discharged through the spillway was 1,502 m3/s and through the plant was 2,792 m3/s.
Son La Lake has a water level of 198.27 m, water flow to the lake is 2,932 m3/s, total discharge is 3,201 m3/s through the plant.
Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 286.82 m, water flow to the lake is 1,665 m3/s, total discharge is 1,486 m3/s through the plant. Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 469.84 m, total discharge is 244 m3/s.
At Huoi Quang reservoir, the water level is at 369.84 m, only 0.16 m lower than the normal water level of 370 m. The reservoir is discharging 340 m3/s through the plant.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 107.53 m, water flow to the reservoir is 1,562 m3/s, total discharge is 1,227.04 m3/s, including 510 m3/s through the spillway and 717.04 m3/s through the plant.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 149.78 m, water inflow to the lake 418 m3/s, total discharge volume 492 m3/s through the plant. Ban Ve Lake has a water level of 173.26 m, no discharge at the time of update. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.08 m, total discharge volume 95.5 m3/s.
Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 458.51 m, with a total discharge volume of 18 m3/s through the plant.
In the South Central region, Song Ba Ha reservoir has a water level of 102.64 m, water inflow to the reservoir 39 m3/s, total discharge 120 m3/s through the plant. Song Hinh reservoir has a water level of 201.14 m, total discharge 53.28 m3/s.
A Vuong Lake has a water level of 351.93 m, the total water inflow and discharge is at 15.6 m3/s. Vinh Son A Lake has a water level of 767.13 m, the total discharge is 4.57 m3/s through the plant.
In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 499.75 m, water flow to the lake 156 m3/s, total discharge volume 320 m3/s through the plant. Se San 3 Lake has a water level of 304.3 m, total water flow to 330 m3/s, total discharge volume 410 m3/s.
Se San 3A Lake has a water level of 238.75 m, total water inflow 469 m3/s, total discharge 389 m3/s. Se San 4 Lake has a water level of 212.06 m, total water inflow 467 m3/s, total discharge 320 m3/s.
Buon Kuop Lake has a water level of 409.89 m, total water inflow 107 m3/s, total discharge 15.05 m3/s, of which 15.05 m3/s through the spillway.
In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 50.95 m, water inflow to the lake 330 m3/s, total discharge 130 m3/s through the plant. Thac Mo Lake has a water level of 200.78 m, water inflow to the lake 88.5 m3/s and does not discharge water at the time of update.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on July 25, the Northern region has showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; especially the mountainous and midland areas have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain.
Thanh Hoa and Nghe An have showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
The Southern region has showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the afternoon and night with rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
