According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 1:00 PM on February 7th, in the Northern region, Son La reservoir reached a water level of 214.87/215m, a flow rate of 349 m3/s, and a total discharge rate of 1,438 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake recorded a water level of 111.88m, flow rate of 854 m3/s, total discharge of 303 m3/s.
Lai Chau, Huoi Quang, Ban Chat, Tuyen Quang, and Thac Ba reservoirs all maintained water levels approaching normal water levels.
In the North Central and South Central regions, the inflow to reservoirs is low to medium. Some reservoirs have discharged electricity such as Khe Bo (107.2 m3/s), Song Bung 4 (50 m3/s), Song Ba Ha (127 m3/s), Song Hinh (56.32 m3/s); many other reservoirs have not yet discharged water.
In the Central Highlands and Southeast, most of the reservoirs operate electricity generation with small flow rates. Tri An Lake recorded a water level of 61.76m, with a total discharge of 107 m3/s.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for February 7th, the Northern region has scattered light rain, the lowest temperature fluctuates from 17 - 21 degrees C.
The North Central region from tomorrow afternoon will have rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.
The Southern region has showers in some places at night, sunny during the day.
