On September 5, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting issued a Short-term Hydrographic Forecast and Warning Bulletin.
According to the bulletin, with the Thao River, the water level at Yen Bai station (Lao Cai province) is and is forecast to continue to change slowly.
Monitoring data at Yen Bai station at 7:00 AM on September 6th was at 25.18m, at the same time at Phu Tho station at 12.33m.
With the Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station and Vu Quang station (Phu Tho province) is and is forecast to continue to fluctuate according to the regulation of the above hydropower line.

With the Red River, the water level downstream of the Red River at the Hanoi Hydrological Station is changing slowly and at a low level, forecast to continue to change slowly according to the tidal regime as well as be affected by upstream reservoir regulation.
According to monitoring data, the water level downstream of the Red River at Hanoi station at 7:00 AM on September 6th was only 1.05m.
