At nearly 4 am on September 6th, a sleeper bus with license plate 38B-012. xx was traveling in the North - South direction. When arriving at Km508+000 of Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway, in Toan Luu commune, the bus collided with a tractor-trailer with license plate 37H-173. xx pulling trailer 37RM-031. xx traveling in the same direction.
The traffic accident injured 5 people on the passenger car, mainly with injuries to the neck, arms, and legs. Two cars were damaged, of which the passenger car was heavily damaged in the front. Traffic in the North - South direction on the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway was affected.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces proceeded to divert traffic for vehicles to move down to the expressway intersection with provincial road 548 in Dong Loc commune to go to National Highway 1.
By nearly 7 am on the same day, the scene of the accident was cleared, and vehicles returned to normal traffic at the accident site.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
