According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 4:30 PM on February 16, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake had an upstream water level of 114.07 m, 5.93 m lower than the normal water level, water inflow to the lake was 50 m3/s and water has not been discharged.
In the Northwest region, large reservoirs on the Da River continue to operate for power generation.
Lai Chau Lake reached 293.68 m, 1.32 m lower than the normal water level; Son La Lake was at 214.49 m, 0.51 m lower, total discharge volume 1,331 m3/s; Hoa Binh Lake reached 112.48 m, 4.52 m lower, total discharge volume 522 m3/s.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake is close to reaching the normal water level when it is at 369.43 m, 0.57 m lower; Ban Chat Lake is at 458.43 m, 16.57 m lower, discharging 105 m3/s through power generation.
In the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir reached 158.46 m, 1.54 m lower, total discharge volume 77 m3/s; Ban Ve reservoir was at 195.83 m, 4.17 m lower and has not been discharged; Khe Bo reservoir reached 64.38 m, 0.62 m lower, discharged 95.5 m3/s through power generation; Quang Tri reservoir reached 476.85 m, 3.15 m lower and has not been discharged.
In the South Central region, A Vuong reservoir is at 376.19 m, lower than 3.81 m, discharging 9.5 m3/s; Song Bung 4 reservoir reached 221.04 m, lower than 1.46 m, discharging 52 m3/s.
Song Tranh 2 reservoir reached 173.75 m, 1.25 m lower and has not been discharged; Song Ba Ha reservoir reached 104.64 m, 0.36 m lower, discharged 146 m3/s; Song Hinh reservoir was at 207.8 m, 1.2 m lower and has not been discharged.
In the Central Highlands, many reservoirs are near the normal water level, such as Thuong Kon Tum reservoir reaching 1.159.77 m (0.23 m lower), Pleikrông reservoir reaching 569.58 m (0.42 m lower), Ialy reservoir reaching 511.01 m (3.99 m lower).
Some reservoirs with power generation discharge such as Se San 4 discharging 95 m3/s, Srepok 3 discharging 166.86 m3/s, Buon Tua Srah discharging 86 m3/s, Dong Nai 3 discharging 84.9 m3/s.
