Route 1: At Km 65+500 National Highway 51 (Ba Ria ward, Ho Chi Minh City) - turn right onto Nguyen Huu Tho - Hung Vuong road - Hoa Long roundabout turn left - National Highway 56 - Dong Nai - National Highway 1A - Ho Chi Minh City.

Route 2: At Km 62 National Highway 51 (Long Huong ward, Ho Chi Minh City): Follow Nguyen Huu Canh road turn left - Le Trong Tan turn right - Van Tien Dung turn left - 3/2 road turn right - National Highway 56 bypass - Hoa Long Moi roundabout turn left - National Highway 56 - Dong Nai - National Highway 1A - Ho Chi Minh City.

Route 2: DT743 - National Highway 1 (Song Than intersection) - Pham Van Dong - Ho Chi Minh City (off Binh Trieu bridge).

Directions for the Mekong Delta provinces - Ho Chi Minh City

Route 1: National Highway 60 - Rach Mieu bridge - National Highway 1 (formerly Tien Giang) - Trung Luong expressway - Ho Chi Minh City - Cho Dem intersection - Ho Chi Minh City.

Route 2: National Highway 60 - Co Chien bridge - National Highway 53 - National Highway 1 (Vinh Long) - My Thuan - Trung Luong - Ho Chi Minh City expressway (circulation route but more open, reducing the risk of congestion).
