According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 11:00 AM on May 13th, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake had an upstream water level of 110.74 m, lower than the normal water level by 120 m. The water flow to the lake reached 134 m3/s, the total discharge and power generation volume was 128.74 m3/s.
In the Northwest region, the reservoirs on the Da River system continue to maintain power generation with high flow. Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 292.25 m, inflow to the reservoir 307 m3/s, total discharge and power generation volume 1,538 m3/s.
Son La Lake reached a water level of 204.94 m, water inflow to the lake reached 2,105 m3/s, total discharge output of 1,040 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Lake is at 106.11 m, inflow to the lake is 577 m3/s and total discharge output is 2,442 m3/s.
Meanwhile, Ban Chat reservoir has a water level of 437.08 m and Huoi Quang reservoir is at 369.21 m, both have not generated discharge. Thac Ba reservoir reached a water level of 51.44 m, total discharge output of 146.34 m3/s.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 13th, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and tonight, with locally heavy rain. Tomorrow it will be sunny with the highest temperature around 31 - 35 degrees Celsius, with some places above 35 degrees Celsius.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places; hot sunny days, especially in the East, there are places with intense heat.
