According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group at 9:00 am on May 11, Tuyen Quang Hydropower reservoir reached a water level of 110.5 m, water inflow to the reservoir 125 m3/s; total discharge through the plant 260.08 m3/s.
In the Da River system, Lai Chau Hydropower reservoir reached a water level of 294.83 m, inflow to the reservoir 1,601 m3/s, discharge to generate electricity 1,498 m3/s.
Son La Hydropower Reservoir is at 204 m, inflow to the reservoir is 2,443 m3/s and discharge for power generation is 1,432 m3/s.
Hoa Binh Hydropower Reservoir maintains a water level of 106.6 m, the inflow to the reservoir increases sharply to 1,036 m3/s, the total discharge output is 1,029 m3/s.
Ban Chat Hydropower and Huoi Quang Hydropower reservoirs maintain water levels of 435.72 m and 369.64 m respectively, without regulating discharge.
Thac Ba Hydropower Reservoir has a water level of 51.57 m; water inflow to the reservoir is 89 m3/s, discharge for power generation is 292.7 m3/s.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 11, the Northwest region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy to very heavy rain. The Northeast region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; especially the mountainous region will have locally heavy to very heavy rain.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places, hot sunny days.
