According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 4:00 PM on June 13, Hoa Binh Lake had an upstream water level of 99.7 m, 17.3 m lower than the normal water level.
Son La Lake reached 195.97 m, 19.03 m lower; Lai Chau Lake reached 287.4 m, 7.6 m lower; Ban Chat Lake reached 448.02 m, 26.98 m lower. Huoi Quang Lake is at 368.97 m, only about 1 m lower than the normal water level.
Regarding water flow to the reservoir, Hoa Binh recorded the highest level with 2,688 m3/s, followed by Son La 2,287 m3/s and Lai Chau 648 m3/s. All reservoirs operated normally, without discharging water through spillways.
The total discharge flow through the plant in Son La reached 3,603 m3/s, Hoa Binh 1,954 m3/s and Lai Chau 915 m3/s.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 98.14 m, 21.86 m lower than the normal water level; Thac Ba reservoir reached 49.52 m, 8.48 m lower. The two reservoirs continue to operate stably, without causing flood discharge.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 13, the delta and midland areas of the Northern region will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest daily temperature commonly 35-36 degrees C, in some places above 37 degrees C.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest daily temperature commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, in some places above 38 degrees Celsius.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions will have showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially in the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
