According to reservoir operation data, at 5:00 AM on July 13, at Hoa Binh reservoir, the upstream water level reached 104.52 m, lower than the normal water level by 12.48 m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 3,988 m3/s, the total discharge flow was 4,492 m3/s, including 1,557 m3/s through the spillway and 2,935 m3/s through the plant. The reservoir is opening 1 deep discharge gate.

Son La Lake has a water level of 196.51 m, 18.49 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reached 2,892 m3/s, total discharge flow of 3,248 m3/s, all through the power plant.

At Lai Chau reservoir, the water level reached 284.09 m, 10.91 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir reached 1,551 m3/s, total discharge flow 1,630 m3/s. Ban Chat reservoir has a water level of 460.26 m, 14.74 m lower than the normal water level, while Huoi Quang reservoir reached 369.56 m, only 0.44 m lower than the normal water level.

In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir recorded a water level of 105.1 m, lower than the normal water level by 14.9 m. Water flow to the reservoir reached 570 m3/s, total discharge flow of 1,230.97 m3/s, of which 481 m3/s through the spillway and 749.97 m3/s through the plant. The reservoir is opening 1 deep discharge gate.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 13, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain. Rain concentrated in the late afternoon, night and early morning. Daytime with intermittent sunshine.

The area from Nghe An to Quang Tri has moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.

The Southern region has showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the afternoon and evening there are showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.

Meanwhile, Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 52.04 m, lower than the normal water level by 5.96 m. The water flow to the lake reached 373 m3/s, the total discharge through the plant was 280.99 m3/s and was not discharged through the spillway dam.
