According to reservoir operation data, at 10:00 AM on July 12, in the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir had an upstream water level of 157.35 m, 160 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir reached 584 m3/s, total discharge volume 685 m3/s, including 248 m3/s through the spillway and 437 m3/s through the plant.

Ban Ve Lake recorded a water level of 170.84 m, water flow to the lake 526 m3/s and has not been discharged. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.42 m, the total discharge through the plant reaches 218.7 m3/s. Quang Tri Lake maintains a water level of 460.39 m and has not been discharged.

In the South Central Coast, A Vuong, Song Bung 2, Vinh Son A, Vinh Son B, Vinh Son C and Song Tranh 2 reservoirs all have lower water levels than normal water levels. In which, A Vuong discharged 28 m3/s through the plant, Song Bung 4 discharged 49 m3/s and Song Ba Ha discharged 120 m3/s through the plant.

In the Central Highlands, most reservoirs such as Thuong Kon Tum, Pleikurong, Ialy, Se San 3, Se San 4, Buon Tua Srah, Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Dai Ninh and Ham Thuan have not carried out discharge through spillways.

Notably, Buon Kuop Lake is opening 1 deep discharge gate, discharging 14.83 m3/s through the spillway. An Khe Lake opens 1 surface discharge gate, discharging 4 m3/s through the spillway. Se San 3A Lake operates power generation with a discharge flow of 258 m3/s through the plant.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 12, the Northern region will have rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain.
