In the Northwest region, Hoa Binh reservoir has an upstream water level of 113.8m, 3.2m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir is 80m3/s, total discharge is 742m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway is 735m3/s.
Son La Lake has a water level of 213.25m, lower than the normal water level by 1.75m. Water flow to the lake reached 175m3/s, total discharge volume 1,193m3/s, of which 360m3/s through the spillway.
Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 290.04m, lower than the normal water level by 4.96m. Water flow to the lake is 265m3/s, total discharge is 581m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway is 77m3/s.
