According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 9:00 am on April 4, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir reached 115.05m, nearly 5m lower than the normal water level (120m); water flow to the reservoir 126 m3/s, total discharge 120.83 m3/s through power generation.
In the Northwest region, the water level of the Da River cascade lakes continues to be high but has not reached the normal level. Lai Chau Lake reached 288.62m, 6.38m lower than the normal water level and has not yet been discharged.
Ban Chat Lake reached 431.27m, only slightly higher than the dead water level by about 0.27m, continuing to accumulate water. Huoi Quang Lake reached 369.39m, still lower than the normal water level by about 0.61m.
Two large reservoirs on the system, Son La and Hoa Binh, are still lacking water compared to the normal water level.
Son La Lake reached 212.88m, about 2.12m lower but still discharged 1,044 m3/s of electricity. Hoa Binh Lake reached 115.94m, 1.06m lower and is discharging 1,197 m3/s through the plant.
Thac Ba Lake reached 53.06m, nearly 5m lower than the normal water level, currently discharging 456.44 m3/s.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for April 4th, the Northern region tonight and early tomorrow morning will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; later there will be light rain in some places. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places; sunny during the day, especially the East has hot sun.
