According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 3:30 PM on May 10, in the North Central region, most reservoirs had water levels lower than normal water levels. Trung Son Lake discharged 80 m3/s of electricity, corresponding to the inflow to the reservoir.
Khe Bo Lake recorded very low flow, only 0.26 m3/s, but still generated electricity with a discharge flow of 95.5 m3/s. Ban Ve and Quang Tri Lakes have not generated discharge.
The South Central Coast region continues to mainly maintain water storage status. A Vuong Lake has a flow rate of 21.01 m3/s, not yet discharged. Song Bung 2 Lake generates electricity at 17 m3/s; Vinh Son A generates electricity at 8.26 m3/s.
Other reservoirs such as Vinh Son B, Vinh Son C, Song Bung 4, Song Hinh have not generated discharge due to very low inflow.
In the Central Highlands, some reservoirs operate electricity generation with small flow rates. Pleikrông reservoir discharges electricity at 103 m3/s, Buôn Kuốp discharges 15.93 m3/s. Đồng Nai 3 and Đồng Nai 4 reservoirs continue to generate electricity with discharge rates of 24.37 m3/s and 25.45 m3/s respectively.
Many other lakes such as Se San 3, Se San 4, Dai Ninh, Ham Thuan, Da Mi are still mainly storing water.
