According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 10:00 AM on May 7, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had an upstream water level at an elevation of 156.77m, 3m lower than the normal water level. Ban Ve Lake reached 184.21m, nearly 16m lower than the elevation of 200m.
Khe Bo Lake is currently at 64.32m, approaching the normal water level of 65m. The water flow to the lake reaches 24m3/s, while the total discharge through the plant is at 95.5m3/s.
At Quang Tri Lake, the upstream water level reached 470.79m, about 9m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake is very low, only about 2m3/s.
In the South Central region, many reservoirs record low water inflows. A Vuong reservoir has water inflows of more than 21m3/s, Song Bung 2 reservoir reaches 3.33m3/s, and Song Bung 4 reservoir reaches 4.78m3/s.
Some reservoirs are maintaining power generation with significant discharge flow such as Song Bung 4 discharging 45m3/s through the plant, Song Ba Ha reservoir discharging 120m3/s and Song Hinh reservoir discharging nearly 21m3/s.
Vinh Son A, Vinh Son B and Vinh Son C reservoirs currently maintain water levels lower than normal water levels, of which Vinh Son A is generating electricity with a discharge flow of nearly 9m3/s.
In the Central Highlands, Thuong Kon Tum reservoir recorded a water level at a height of 1,150.2m, nearly 10m lower than the normal water level. This reservoir is discharging a total of 29.82m3/s, of which 3.3m3/s is through the spillway dam.
Pleikrông Lake is currently at 559.06m, nearly 11m lower than the normal water level and is generating electricity with a discharge flow of 121m3/s.
Meanwhile, Ialy Lake has a water inflow rate of 187m3/s but has not generated discharge. Se San 4 Lake is maintaining a total discharge through the plant at 160m3/s.
