According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 8:00 AM on May 15, the North Central region recorded that the water level of the reservoirs was still lower than the normal water level.
Trung Son Lake reached 155.63 m, inflow rate 134 m3/s; Ban Ve Lake reached 183.06 m, inflow rate 48 m3/s. Khe Bo Lake has an inflow rate of 113.3 m3/s and discharged 232.4 m3/s through power generation. Quang Tri Lake discharged 18 m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, most reservoirs have low water inflow. A Vuong reservoir reached 366.88 m; Song Bung 2 and Song Bung 4 have almost no water inflow. Vinh Son A reservoirs discharge 7.88 m3/s, Song Hinh discharges 19.03 m3/s.
Song Tranh 2 and Ba Ha Lakes maintain low water levels, not generating significant electricity.
The Central Highlands region recorded many reservoirs operating for electricity generation with notable discharge flows: Pleikrông discharged 125 m3/s, Ialy discharged 58 m3/s, Sê San 3A discharged 282 m3/s, Sê San 4 discharged 400 m3/s, Buôn Tua Srah discharged 64 m3/s.
Don Duong and Dai Ninh reservoirs discharged about 24 m3/s.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 15, the Northern region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and tonight; tomorrow it will be hot, with intense heat in some places. The highest temperature is commonly 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, with some places above 37 degrees Celsius.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 36 - 38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places; hot sunny days, the East has places with intense heat above 37 degrees Celsius.
