According to reservoir operation data, at 9:00 am on July 15, in the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir had an upstream water level of 151.8m, 8.2m lower than the normal water level. The reservoir is discharging a total of 561m3/s, of which 86m3/s through the spillway and 475m3/s through the plant, opening 1 surface discharge gate.
Ban Ve Lake reached 173.06m, 26.94m lower than the normal water level and has not yet discharged water. Khe Bo Lake reached 64.07m, 0.93m lower, total discharge flow 220m3/s through the plant. Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 461.01m, 18.99m lower, total discharge flow 18m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, A Vuong reservoir reached 354.37m, 25.63m lower and has not been discharged. Song Bung 2 reservoir reached 578.1m, 26.9m lower; Song Bung 4 reservoir reached 210.28m, 12.22m lower, both have not been discharged.
Vinh Son A, Vinh Son B and Vinh Son C reservoirs reached 767.33m; 818.03m and 972.03m respectively, all lower than the normal water level by about 7-9m. Song Tranh 2 reservoir reached 153.45m, 21.55m lower, total discharge flow 105m3/s through the plant. Song Ba Ha reservoir reached 102.69m, 2.31m lower; Song Hinh reservoir reached 201.92m, 7.08m lower.
In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 496.15m, 18.85m lower than the normal water level of 515m. The water flow to the lake reaches 574m3/s, the total discharge flow is 137m3/s, all through the plant.
Pleikrong Lake reached 548.41m, 21.59m lower; Se San 3 lake reached 304.22m, only 0.28m lower; Se San 3A lake reached 238.5m, 0.5m lower; Se San 4 lake reached 212.28m, 2.72m lower.
Notably, Buon Kuop reservoir reached 409.26m, 2.74m lower, discharging a total of 209.74m3/s, of which 14.74m3/s through the spillway and 195m3/s through the plant, maintaining 1 deep discharge gate. An Khe reservoir reached 428.17m, 0.83m lower, discharging 4m3/s through the spillway and opening 1 surface discharge gate.
Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Don Duong, Dai Ninh, Ham Thuan and Da Mi reservoirs all maintain water levels below normal water levels, of which Dong Nai 4 reservoir is at 475.09m, only 0.91m lower.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 15, the Northern region will be hot with the highest temperature above 36 degrees Celsius.
The North Central region will be sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places with the highest temperature around 32 - 35 degrees Celsius.
The Southern region has scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy to very heavy rain.
