Many hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands region on the morning of July 13 were still lower than the normal water level.

According to reservoir operation data, at 5 am on July 13, in the North Central region, Trung Son reservoir had an upstream water level of 156.13 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.87 m. The reservoir is opening 3 surface discharge gates with a total discharge flow of 1,100 m3/s, of which 654 m3/s is through the spillway dam.

Ban Ve Lake reached 171.82 m, 28.18 m lower than the normal water level and has not been discharged. Khe Bo Lake reached 64.53 m, only 0.47 m lower than the normal water level. Quang Tri Lake has a water level of 460.7 m, 19.3 m lower than the normal water level.

In the South Central Coast, A Vuong reservoir reached 354.95 m, lower than the normal water level by 25.05 m; Song Bung 2 reservoir reached 578.73 m, lower than 26.27 m; Song Bung 4 reservoir reached 210.5 m, lower than 12 m; Song Tranh 2 reservoir reached 154.1 m, lower than 20.9 m. Vinh Son A, Vinh Son B, Vinh Son C, Song Ba Ha and Song Hinh reservoirs also maintained water levels below the normal water level.

In the Central Highlands, Thuong Kon Tum Lake has a water level of 1,143.95 m, 16.05 m lower than the normal water level. Pleikrông Lake reached 547.53 m, 22.47 m lower; Ialy Lake reached 494.32 m, 20.68 m lower.

Notably, Se San 3 reservoir reached 304.48 m, only 0.02 m lower than the normal water level, while Se San 3A reservoir reached 238.5 m, 0.5 m lower and equal to the dead water level. Se San 4 reservoir reached 212.01 m, 2.99 m lower.

Kanak, Srepok 3, Buon Kuop, Buon Tua Srah, Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Don Duong, Dai Ninh, Ham Thuan and Da Mi reservoirs continue to maintain water levels below normal water levels. In which, Dong Nai 4 reservoir is only 1.49 m lower, Da Mi reservoir is 1.05 m lower, and Buon Kuop reservoir is 2.6 m lower.

According to operating data, in addition to Trung Son Lake opening 3 surface discharge gates, An Khe Lake discharges 4 m3/s through the spillway and Buon Kuop Lake discharges 14.72 m3/s through the spillway, most other lakes do not discharge spillways but operate to generate electricity through the plant.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 13, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain. Rain concentrated in the late afternoon, night and early morning. Daytime with intermittent sunshine.

The area from Nghe An to Quang Tri has moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
