Most hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands region continue to be lower than the normal water level, mainly operating for power generation, and no flood discharge has occurred.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 3:00 PM on June 19, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had an upstream water level of 151.94m, only nearly 2m higher than the dead water level. Ban Ve Lake was at 174.02m, nearly 26m lower than the normal water level.

Khe Bo Lake reached 64.61m, approaching the normal water level of 65m, while Quang Tri Lake reached 463.35m, 16m lower than the design threshold.

In the South Central region, A Vuong Lake reached 359.6m, 20.4m lower than the normal water level. Song Bung 2 Lake reached 586.4m, 18.6m lower; Song Bung 4 Lake reached 212.33m, 10.17m lower. Song Tranh 2 Lake recorded a water level of 157.74m, 17.26m lower than the normal water level.

Reservoirs on the Vinh Son system maintained high water levels but still below the design threshold. In which, Vinh Son A reached 768.34m, Vinh Son B reached 819.04m and Vinh Son C reached 972.33m.

In the Central Highlands, Pleikrông reservoir has a water level of 545.19m, nearly 25m lower than the normal water level; Ialy reservoir reached 496.02m, nearly 19m lower. Se San 4 reservoir reached 211.57m, 3.43m lower; Dong Nai 4 reservoir reached 474.54m, about 1.5m lower.

Some lakes have water levels approaching the normal level, such as An Khe reaching 428.31m above the design level of 429m, Buon Kuop reaching 410.09m above the level of 412m and Da Mi reaching 324.11m above the level of 325m.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 19, the mountainous and midland areas of the Northern region will have showers and scattered thunderstorms, with locally heavy to very heavy rain. The Northern Delta will be hot during the day, with intense heat in some places.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.

The Southern region will be sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places; showers and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with locally heavy rain in some places.
