According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 8:00 AM on June 15, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had a water level of 156.88 m, 3.12 m lower than the normal water level.
Ban Ve Lake reached 175.18 m, 24.82 m lower; Quang Tri Lake reached 464.56 m, 15.44 m lower. Meanwhile, Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.55 m, only 0.45 m lower than the normal water level and is generating electricity with a discharge flow of 214.3 m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, many lakes are still below the normal water level from 2 - 20 m.
In which, A Vuong reservoir reached 360.55 m, 19.45 m lower; Song Bung 2 reservoir reached 586.22 m, 18.78 m lower; Song Tranh 2 reservoir reached 158.24 m, 16.76 m lower. Song Ba Ha reservoir has a water level of 102.75 m, 2.25 m lower, while Song Hinh reservoir reached 204.02 m, nearly 5 m lower than the normal water level.
The Central Highlands region recorded a number of lakes with water levels approaching normal water levels such as Se San 3 reaching 303.64 m, 0.86 m lower; Se San 3A reached 238.66 m, 0.34 m lower; Srepok 3 reached 271.58 m, 0.42 m lower and An Khe reached 428.51 m, 0.49 m lower.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 15, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain; especially the delta region will be hot during the day, and in the late afternoon tomorrow there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall in the Northern region will be concentrated in the late afternoon and night.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
The Central Highlands and Southern regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with locally heavy rain.
