Hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands region are operating stably, the water level in most reservoirs is still lower than the normal water level.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 4:00 PM on June 20, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had a water level of 152.11m, nearly 8m lower than the normal water level of 160m. The water flow to the lake reached 45m3/s, while the total amount of water discharged through the plant was 230m3/s.

Ban Ve Lake recorded a water level of 173.8m, 26.2m lower than the normal water level. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.55m, only about 0.45m away from the normal water level, with water inflow reaching 264.4m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, the water inflow to many reservoirs continues to be maintained at a very low level. A Vuong reservoir only reached 1.73m3/s, Song Bung 2 reservoir reached 2.31m3/s, Vinh Son A reservoir reached 0.21m3/s, Vinh Son B reservoir reached 0.28m3/s and Vinh Son C reservoir reached 0.18m3/s.

Song Tranh 2 Lake has a water level of 157.57m, 17m lower than the normal water level of 175m. Song Ba Ha Lake reached 102.77m, about 2.2m lower than the normal water level, while Song Hinh Lake reached 203.67m, about 5.3m lower.

In the Central Highlands, most hydropower reservoirs operate normal power generation. Se San 4 reservoir has a total discharge flow of 225m3/s, the highest in the region. Ham Thuan reservoir discharges 116.94m3/s, Da Mi reservoir discharges 113.9m3/s, Dong Nai 4 reservoir discharges 100.23m3/s and Dong Nai 3 reservoir discharges 96.66m3/s.

Notably, An Khe Lake is opening 1 surface discharge gate with a flow rate of 4m3/s, and at the same time discharging through the plant 44.05m3/s. Buon Kuop Lake maintains 1 deep discharge gate, discharging through the spillway 15.54m3/s and through the plant 33m3/s.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 20, the Northern region will be sunny, with hot sun in some places, especially the delta region will be hot, with hot sun in some places over 37 degrees Celsius.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak have hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.

The Southern region will be sunny during the day, with showers and scattered thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
