According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 3:00 PM on June 19, at Lai Chau Lake, the upstream water level reached 289.18m, 5.82m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake reached 858m3/s, the total discharge through the plant was 1,576m3/s.
Son La Lake recorded a water level of 195.64m, 19.36m lower than the normal water level. This is also the lake with the largest inflow in the area with 1,066m3/s, while the total discharge flow reached 906m3/s.
At Hoa Binh reservoir, the upstream water level is at 98.91m, 18.09m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir reached 955m3/s, the total discharge through the plant is 473m3/s.
Ban Chat and Huoi Quang reservoirs continue to maintain water levels lower than the design threshold. In which, Ban Chat reservoir reached 448.83m, 26.17m lower than the normal water level; Huoi Quang reservoir reached 368.34m, 1.66m lower.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake has an upstream water level of 98.01m, nearly 22m lower than the normal water level. The inflow to the lake reached 377m3/s.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba Lake recorded a water level of 48.91m, 9.09m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the lake reached 68m3/s, the total discharge through the plant reached nearly 280m3/s.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 19, the mountainous and midland areas of the Northern region will have showers and scattered thunderstorms, with locally heavy to very heavy rain. The Northern Delta will be hot during the day, with intense heat in some places.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang city and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
The Southern region will be sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places; showers and scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, with locally heavy rain in some places.
