Many hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands are maintaining stable power generation operation, generally lower than the normal water level.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 11:30 am on May 22, in the North Central region, Trung Son Hydropower Reservoir had an upstream water level at an elevation of 157.63m, nearly reaching the normal water level of 160m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 108m3/s, the total discharge through the plant was 78m3/s.

Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir currently has a water level of 181.89m, the water flow to the reservoir reaches 196m3/s and has not generated discharge. Meanwhile, Khe Bo Hydropower Reservoir operates power generation with a total discharge volume of 165.9m3/s.

In the South Central Coast, Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Reservoir has a water flow to the reservoir of 63.5m3/s, with a total discharge through the plant of 160m3/s. Song Ba Ha Hydropower Reservoir recorded a water level of 103.58m, lower than the normal water level by 105m.

A Vuong Hydropower, Song Bung 2 Hydropower and Vinh Son A Hydropower reservoirs have not yet discharged water.

In the Central Highlands, Ialy Hydropower reservoir has a water inflow rate of 55m3/s, the total discharge through power generation reaches 168m3/s. Se San 3 Hydropower and Se San 3A Hydropower reservoirs continue to maintain stable power generation.

Some reservoirs discharge through spillways with small flow rates such as An Khe Hydropower discharging 8m3/s and Srepok 3 Hydropower discharging 0.8m3/s.

Dong Nai 3 Hydropower Plant, Dai Ninh Hydropower Plant and Ham Thuan Hydropower Plant currently have not generated regulating discharge.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 22, the Northern Delta and Southern Phu Tho regions will be hot with the highest temperature commonly 35 - 36 degrees C, with some places above 36 degrees C.
