Hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands region are lower than the normal water level, the water flow to the reservoirs is small and mainly discharges electricity with low flow.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 4:30 PM on May 6, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had a water level of 157.38m, inflow to the lake 52m3/s, total discharge volume 219m3/s. Ban Ve Lake reached 184.4m, inflow to 67m3/s and has not been discharged.

Khe Bo Lake recorded a water level of 64.43m, inflow to the lake of 4.5m3/s, total discharge of 171.2m3/s. Quang Tri Lake is at 470.88m, inflow to the lake is small, not yet discharged.

The South Central region has low water flow to the reservoir. A Vuong Lake reached a water level of 367.86m, total discharge volume of 28.3m3/s. Song Bung 2 and Song Tranh 2 reservoirs have not yet discharged.

Song Bung 4 reservoir discharges 75m3/s through the plant. Song Ba Ha reservoir maintains discharge of 120m3/s. Song Hinh reservoir discharges 17.89m3/s even though the flow to the reservoir is negative due to regulation.

In the Central Highlands, many reservoirs operate electricity generation with small discharge flows. Thuong Kon Tum reservoir discharges 26.52m3/s; Pleyrong discharges 121m3/s. Ialy reservoir has not discharged even though the flow reached 150m3/s.

An Khe Lake discharges 8m3/s through the spillway with 1 open discharge gate. Srepok 3 Lake discharges 0.78m3/s through the spillway with 2 deep discharge gates. Buon Kuop Lake discharges 15.79m3/s through the spillway. Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, and Dai Ninh reservoirs have not yet discharged.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 6, in the Central Central region, the weather will be similar when showers and scattered thunderstorms appear in the late afternoon and night, sunny during the day.

In other areas, showers and thunderstorms mainly appear in the late afternoon and night, while during the day it is sunny. Notably, the Central Highlands and Southern regions in the late afternoon and evening may experience scattered showers and thunderstorms.

During thunderstorms, people need to be wary of extreme weather phenomena such as tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
