According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:30 PM on May 5, in the North Central region, Trung Son Lake had a water level of 158.07 m, Ban Ve Lake 184.46 m and Khe Bo Lake 64.48 m, all lower than the normal water level.
The South Central Coast region recorded A Vuong lake at 367.95 m, Song Bung 4 reached 216.4 m, Vinh Son A reached 770.46 m, Song Tranh 2 reached 168.85 m and Song Hinh reached 205.88 m.
The remaining lakes maintain water levels below the normal level.
In the Central Highlands, many large reservoirs are still lower than the normal water level such as Thuong Kon Tum 1. 150.57 m, Pleikrông 559.39 m, Ialy 502.24 m, Se San 4 reaching 212.71 m, Buon Tua Srah 476.32 m, Dong Nai 3 reaching 578.78 m and Dong Nai 4 reaching 475.57 m.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on May 5, the Northern region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places; sunny skies with reduced clouds in the afternoon. The highest temperature is commonly 27 - 30 degrees C, in some places above 30 degrees C.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and evening has scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places at night, sunny days.
