Hydropower reservoirs in the Central - Central Highlands region on July 8th continue to be lower than normal water levels, mainly operating for power generation.

As of 11:00 AM on July 8, in the North Central region, Trung Son hydropower reservoir has an upstream water level of 158.82 m, 1.18 m lower than the normal water level of 160 m. Water flow to the reservoir reached 255 m3/s, total discharge volume 422 m3/s, all through the plant.

Ban Ve Lake has a water level of 170.25 m, 29.75 m lower than the normal water level of 200 m. The inflow to the lake reached 61 m3/s, and water has not been discharged yet.

Khe Bo Lake reached 64.55 m, 0.45 m lower than the normal water level of 65 m. Total discharge volume reached 95.5 m3/s, all through the plant.

Quang Tri Lake recorded a water level of 460.17 m, 19.83 m lower than the normal water level of 480 m. The inflow and total discharge volume both reached 18 m3/s.

In the South Central region, A Vuong Lake has a water level of 356.03 m, 23.97 m lower than the normal water level. Song Bung 2 Lake reached 580.75 m, 24.25 m lower; Song Bung 4 Lake reached 210.57 m, 11.93 m lower; Song Tranh 2 Lake reached 155.1 m, 19.9 m lower.

Vinh Son A, Vinh Son B and Vinh Son C reservoirs have water levels of 767.43 m, 818.19 m and 971.94 m respectively, all lower than the normal water level from 7.57 m to 9.06 m. Song Ba Ha reservoir reached 102.46 m, lower than 2.54 m, while Song Hinh reservoir reached 202.4 m, lower than 6.6 m.

In the Central Highlands region, Thuong Kon Tum Lake has a water level of 1,144.08 m, 15.92 m lower than the normal water level. Pleikrông Lake reached 546 m, 24 m lower; Ialy Lake reached 492.9 m, 22.1 m lower.

Reservoirs on the Se San River system continue to maintain water levels below normal water levels, including Se San 3 reaching 303.72 m, Se San 3A reaching 238.66 m and Se San 4 reaching 211.47 m.

Kanak Lake has a water level of 499.6 m, 15.4 m lower; An Khe Lake reaches 428.1 m, 0.9 m lower, is discharging 4 m3/s through the spillway and opening 1 surface discharge gate.

In the Srepok River basin, Srepok 3 reservoir has a water level of 269.49 m, 2.51 m lower, total discharge volume 140 m3/s. Buon Kuop reservoir reached 410.1 m, 1.9 m lower, currently discharging 15.18 m3/s through the spillway and opening 1 deep discharge gate.

Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Don Duong, Dai Ninh, Ham Thuan and Da Mi reservoirs all have water levels lower than normal water levels, of which Ham Thuan and Da Mi reservoirs have not yet discharged water.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 8th, the Northern region will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in mountainous areas, showers and scattered thunderstorms will occur at night in mountainous areas. Tomorrow it will be sunny, from tomorrow evening there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.

The North Central region has showers and thunderstorms in some places; sunny days, hot sun in some places.

The Southern region has showers and thunderstorms in some places, especially in the afternoon and evening cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
