According to updated data at 10:30 am on July 7, the Northwest region has a large water inflow to the reservoirs in the Da River system. Hoa Binh Lake has an upstream water level of 102.77 m, 14.23 m lower than the normal water level. Water inflow to the reservoir reaches 3,392 m3/s, total discharge volume 2,885 m3/s, all through the plant.
Son La Lake has a water level of 194.58 m, water inflow to the lake of 3,932 m3/s, total discharge volume of 3,201 m3/s. Lai Chau Lake reached a water level of 284.33 m, water inflow to the lake of 1,351 m3/s, total discharge volume of 1,587 m3/s through the plant.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 108.06 m, water flow to the reservoir 896 m3/s, total discharge volume 1,225.8 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway 517 m3/s, maintaining 1 deep discharge gate. Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 51.51 m, total discharge volume 447.61 m3/s through the plant.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake reached a water level of 159.31 m, only 0.69 m lower than the normal water level. Ban Ve Lake has a water level of 170.47 m, Khe Bo Lake 64.73 m and Quang Tri Lake 459.98 m, all operating to generate electricity through the plant.
In the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions, most reservoirs continue to have water levels lower than normal water levels. Some reservoirs have generated discharge through spillways, including An Khe reservoir with 4 m3/s and Buon Kuop reservoir with 15.41 m3/s. The remaining reservoirs mainly generate electricity or have not yet discharged water.
In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has an upstream water level of 51.96 m, a water inflow to the reservoir of 320 m3/s and has not discharged water through spillways or plants.
According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 7, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny days. Rain concentrates in the late afternoon and night.
