The Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway investment project passes through 4 districts: Nghia Hung, Nam Truc, Truc Ninh and Xuan Truong; with a length of 27.6km. Immediately after the project was approved by the Prime Minister for investment, Nam Dinh province directed departments, branches and localities to mobilize the entire political system to participate in site clearance (GPMB).
According to the report of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province, up to now, the localities have basically completed the site clearance on agricultural land of the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong expressway construction investment project, paying compensation of about 300 billion VND.
It is known that Truc Ninh district is one of the localities with the most land area to site the project to serve the project, with more than 16km of the length of the route passing. Mr. Vu Viet Thanh - Deputy Head of Agriculture and Environment Department of Truc Ninh District informed, so far, the locality has completed the compensation of more than 93ha of agricultural land and moving 441 graves to hand over clean ground to the construction unit.
Deputy Head of Agriculture and Environment Division of Truc Ninh district added: "The most difficult local agricultural land site area is to relocate the graves because of the spiritual and beliefs of the people. Regarding residential land area, Truc Ninh district has listed 335 households under the GPMB. In addition to appraisal, accumulation, and counting of assets, architecture, crops, livestock, etc. in June, the district has arranged 22 resettlement areas for resettlement to serve the relocation of households and strives to complete the site clearance work in September this year.
In Nghia Hung district, the project length is about 1.9km. Of which, in Nghia Trung commune, there are 26 households with rice fields and 8 households with residential land in need of land acquisition.
Mr. Pham Van Minh - Land official of Nghia Trung commune - said that in the commune, Mr. Do Ngoc Phi's family in hamlet 11 is the first household to accept the policy of site clearance for the project, with an area of nearly 2,500m2 of rice fields of 4 people. After being explained by authorities at all levels, Mr. Phi's family grasped the State's compensation plan and agreed to give up the land for the project.
