On the afternoon of June 3, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Thuan Province Police conducted an investigation into the case of a male student drowning and dying in a pond in Long Son Quarter, Mui Ne Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province.
Initial information at noon of the same day, L.T.D (born in 2010) and 3 other friends in the village went to the pond in the area. When D jumped into the pond, he drowned and went missing. People used sup boards to search and search. After that, D's body was found and brought ashore.
This pond is a deep hole formed from previous mineral exploitation activities. In recent days, heavy rain has caused water levels to rise.
It is known that D is a 9th grade student, taking the first grade 10 entrance exam on the morning of June 3 and then encountered the tragic incident above.
