On the morning of August 16, Ba Diem Commune Police are coordinating with professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police to investigate the cause of the incident on Phan Van Hon Street.
The accident occurred on the evening of August 15, in the area near Ba Man bridge, Ba Diem commune. According to initial information, the victim was a male student named H, studying for the fourth year at a university in Ho Chi Minh City.
That same evening, H was riding a motorbike on Phan Van Hon Street, from Giong intersection to Ba Diem, when he collided with a dump truck.

The strong collision caused the male student to be dragged by a dump truck for hundreds of meters, died on the spot, and his body was deformed. "H's father was on his way from Binh Dinh to complete the procedures to receive his child's body at the morgue in Binh Hung Hoa ward," a relative of the victim shared.
In another development, a series of accidents also occurred in the early morning of August 16 on the Nga Tu Ga overpass, injuring 3 people.
According to the Binh Trieu Traffic Police Team, at that time, a motorbike traveling in the wrong direction at high speed on the overpass, from District 12 to Go Vap (previously), collided with a motorbike of a technology car driver. The strong collision caused both people to be seriously injured and had to be taken to the emergency room. A man riding a motorbike behind also fell and suffered minor injuries.

Currently, An Phu Dong Ward Police are coordinating with Binh Trieu Traffic Police Team to investigate the cause of the accident and check the alcohol concentration and stimulants of the driver who caused the accident.
