On the afternoon of September 8, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue forces of Dong Nai Province Police and local people found the body of Mr. B.H.K (29 years old, residing in Bom Bo Commune, Dong Nai Province) who had drowned and gone missing under Thac Mo Hydropower Reservoir.
Earlier, on the same morning, Mr. K invited a friend to go to Thac Mo Hydropower Reservoir (in village 10, Bom Bo commune, Dong Nai province) to fish.
At noon of the same day, because the fishing boat was stuck with branches and grass, making it difficult to release fishing lines, Mr. K swam to the area to release fishing prey and dived down to clean up. However, Mr. K suddenly sank into deep water and was swept away and went missing.
Seeing Mr. K submerged in water, the friend who was with him quickly shouted to the surrounding people to jump down to search but failed.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue forces of Dong Nai Province Police mobilized specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene to coordinate with local forces to deploy a search plan for the victims.
At 4:00 p.m. the same day, the victim's body was discovered about 50 meters from the scene.
