A woman in Quang Tri drowns while working in the fields

    Quang Tri - A woman drowned while working in the fields, her body was discovered about 800m from the accident site.

    On September 7, Huong Phung Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) said that the unit had just coordinated with functional forces to find the body of a drowning citizen in Huong Phung commune (Quang Tri province).

    Previously, at around 3:00 p.m. the same day, Huong Phung Border Guard Station received a report from local residents about a suspected drowning incident while working in the fields in Phung Lam village, Huong Phung commune. The unit quickly mobilized officers and soldiers to coordinate with Huong Phung Commune Police to organize the search.

    At 4:30 p.m. on September 7, the victim's body was found at the end of a stream in Phung Lam village, about 800m from the original accident site. The victim was identified as Ms. Le Thi T. (born 1961), residing in Phung Lam village, Huong Phung commune.

    Immediately after finding the body, the authorities notified the family and advised the local authorities to coordinate in handling the incident according to regulations.
