According to the morning announcement of June 6 of Thanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, hot weather continues to occur in the area due to the hot low pressure area in the West maintaining stable intensity. This weather makes the highest temperature in many places reach 36–38°C, in some places exceeding 38°C, the relative humidity decreases to only 45–50%.
Accordingly, on June 6, hot weather occurred in many places:
Coastal plains (including Yen Dinh, Ha Trung, Bim Son, Nga Son, Hau Loc, Hoang Hoa, Thieu Hoa, Nong Cong, Nghi Son, Quang Chinh, Hac Thanh, Sam Son): temperature fluctuates from 36–38°C, in some places above 38°C; low humidity from 50–55%.

On June 7, the temperature and humidity were similar to the previous day, intense heat continued to be maintained in the above-mentioned areas. Functional agencies warned the level of natural disaster risk due to heat is Level 1.
Hot weather combined with low humidity can cause heatstroke, heat shock, dehydration; and at the same time increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, respiratory diseases, especially for the elderly, young children and outdoor workers.
In addition, increased electricity demand increases the risk of overload, electrical equipment fires, as well as the risk of forest fires and fires in residential areas. Livestock and crops can also suffer heat shocks leading to reduced productivity.
Functional agencies recommend that people limit going out during the time from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, pay attention to drinking enough water, supplementing electrolytes, wearing sun protection clothing and not working overtime in the sun. People also need to pay attention to using electricity safely and economically, regularly check electrical equipment and proactively implement fire prevention and fighting plans in forest areas and residential areas.
