Information from the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) on August 31 said that accompanying hundreds of EVNSPC workers and engineers and contractors who are still enthusiastically constructing on the power grid projects, EVNSPC leaders also directly went to the site during the holidays, to visit, encourage and give gifts to workers.
On August 31, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Duc - General Director of EVNSPC - inspected the KfW mid-range and low-voltage projects in Dong Nai province and the 110kV Tri An - Thanh Phu transmission line division project and the 110kV High-Tech substation branch. Previously, on the morning of August 30, the first day of the holiday, EVNSPC General Director was also present at Ho Tram 110kV Station to visit and give gifts to workers under construction in harsh weather conditions.
At the same time, EVNSPC Board members Le Xuan Hai, Le Hoang Oanh, Bang Duc Hoai; Deputy General Directors Lam Xuan Tuan, Hua Thanh Nhan, Doan Duc Hung, Dao Hoa Binh and Chairman of the Trade Union Le Xuan Thai also directly went to the construction site in many localities such as Lam Dong, Ca Mau, Tay Ninh, An Giang, Dong Thap and Vinh Long... to check the progress, promptly remove difficulties for the project and acknowledge and encourage the efforts of the construction force during the festival.
At the construction sites, EVNSPC leaders highly appreciated the efforts and determination of the staff, engineers, workers, laborers and contractors who have made efforts over the past time, contributing to completing 78 projects in the first 8 months of the year. In particular, during the National Day holiday on September 2, workers on the projects also put aside their private life and family reunion joy to work with EVNSPC to speed up the progress of the projects.
EVNSPC leaders also presented gifts of gratitude and encouragement to workers working at the construction site; at the same time, they noted that workers need to ensure labor safety during work.
Mr. Ca Chi Dien - engineer in charge of the project "1110kV access routes to the 220kV Gia Rai transformer station, Bac Lieu province", Southern Power Grid Project Management Board - said: "On holidays, seeing people playing and family gatherings makes me feel sad. But thinking about completing the project on schedule to put electricity into service for the people, we encourage each other to try harder."
Mr. Nguyen Chi Tam - Commander of the project "DZ110kV cable separation from 171 Minh Phong - 171 An Bien" - shared: "Accompanying in many projects, we understand that the progress and quality of the project are always the factors that are given top priority. Therefore, we determine that this is the responsibility of the construction unit, in order to bring the project to the finish line on schedule, ensuring stable power supply for the people".
