On May 14, Hoc Mon Driving Training and Testing Center, Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ho Chi Minh City Police organized the first driving test and test (GPLX) after 2 months of receiving the task from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport.
On the same morning, about 200 students took the car driving test. The Traffic Police Department has established 2 inspection councils including cars and A1 motorbikes. In the afternoon, the council continued to organize motorbike testing for 300 candidates of Tien Bo Traffic College (Tan Phu District).


According to the Traffic Police Department, after receiving the testing and granting of the license, the unit has developed a plan to organize, train and train soldiers and officers to ensure the implementation of the process. Officials in the test are supplemented with knowledge, ensuring the organization of the exam takes place seriously and transparently.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Trung - the investor and manager of the Hoc Mon Driving Training and Testing Center - said that for many weeks, the unit has closely coordinated with the Traffic Police Department to prepare carefully for the first test.
"The course system, automatic scoring and monitoring equipment are all carefully inspected, meeting the most modern technical standards. The center's staff is also ready to support candidates and assessors, contributing to the exam's transparent, fair and smooth conduct," Mr. Trung shared.

This exam applies many new points according to Circular 12 of the Ministry of Public Security, which stipulates that candidates who fail the theory will still be allowed to take the practical exam. The results will be reserved for 1 year, helping students save time and costs.
At the testing area, candidates received active support from officers of the Traffic Police Department and lecturers and technicians of Hoc Mon Center.


According to Lieutenant Colonel Truong Tran Minh Tuan - Captain of the Examination Team, granting driving licenses, the unit has arranged 20 officers and soldiers, 24 test vehicles and 10 simulation machines to serve the exam.

Currently, in Ho Chi Minh City, there are still about 119,000 pending applications for driving licenses due to the transfer process. The Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police informed that it will strive to resolve this number of records as soon as possible to meet the legitimate needs of the people.
