On August 23, at 3A Park, An Phuoc Commune, Vietnam Airports Corporation - JSC (ACV) coordinated to organize the Long Thanh International Airport Job Fair (abbreviated as Long Thanh Airport) to bring nearly 3,000 job opportunities when Long Thanh Airport is put into operation.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong newspaper, the Long Thanh Airport Job Fair event received great attention from students of colleges, universities and people in the province.
Since morning, candidates have been lining up from outside the gate waiting for their turn to find information and apply for job positions.
Truong Quoc Thang - a final year student at the Faculty of Business Administration, Lac Hong University, Dong Nai Province - said: "The school created an opportunity for students to learn about job opportunities when Long Thanh airport was put into operation, so I and other students went to learn about the information. And, through recruitment here, I also basically meet the recruitment requirements, especially the requirement for a foreign language, English.
ACV identifies human resources as one of the factors that play a key role in deciding. Attracting young, dynamic, enthusiastic and highly qualified human resources who can grasp and master new and advanced technologies in the world will help Long Thanh airport operate effectively.
Speaking at the festival, Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong - Deputy General Director of ACV said that ACV is committed to not only stopping at recruitment, but also accompanying workers throughout the process of training, skills training, and career development.
Mr. Le Truong Son - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also suggested that ACV and companies should give priority in recruiting workers for people in the communes who have given up land to build Long Thanh airport to work to support long-term livelihoods for people as well as accompany the development of Long Thanh airport in the coming time.

The airport construction investment project is one of the important national-level projects of the transport sector. Long Thanh airport is planned to reach level 4F according to the decentralization of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO); is an important international airport of the country, aiming to become one of the air transit centers in the region, with a scale and capacity after completing all 3 phases of 100 million passengers/year and 5 million tons of cargo/year.
In phase 1, the project is investing in the construction of 2 runways, 1 passenger terminal with a capacity of 25 million passengers/year, 1 cargo terminal with a capacity of 550,000 tons of cargo/year and synchronous auxiliary items. Currently, the project is in the final stage of construction to basically complete the infrastructure by the end of 2025. It is expected that on December 19, 2025, ACV will conduct a technical flight to be able to put Long Thanh airport into commercial operation in the first half of 2026 under the direction of the Prime Minister.
