Ms. Ly Y Dinh, 70 years old; permanent resident of Huoi Pop village, Nam Can commune was swept away by water in Khe Huoi Yen, Huoi Pop village, Nam Can commune (now the body has been found and handed over to her family); Ms. Vu Y Xia, 78 years old, permanent resident of Huoi Co village, Nhon Mai commune, was buried in soil and rocks and her hut until her death. Currently, the local government is coordinating with the family to organize a funeral. 1 person in Bac Ly commune has also died, and his identity has not yet been determined.

The whole province had 450 houses damaged, roofs blown off, and 3,786 houses flooded.
Floods also caused severe damage to agriculture with 1,604.9 hectares of rice, 1,291.94 hectares of vegetables, 990.9 hectares of annual crops damaged, thousands of hectares of forests, shade trees, and urban trees broken, 202 livestock died, 2,707 poultry were swept away by water, 156.7 hectares of aquaculture ponds were flooded, and 92 cages were damaged.
The traffic infrastructure system was severely damaged with 32 flooded spots on national highways and provincial roads, 27 landslides on slopes, landslides of 22,793.1 m3 of rock and soil, 3 suspension bridges swept away...
Faced with the situation of floods causing many damages, the leaders of Nghe An province directly went to the scene to direct the recovery of flood consequences, requested the maximum mobilization of forces to rescue people and property, urgently overcome the consequences, stabilize life and production.
