Nghe An - The Department of Home Affairs is continuing to review dossiers for settling regimes according to Decree 178, and so far no errors have been detected.

On September 9, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of the Department of Home Affairs of Nghe An province said that the unit is assigning a professional department to continue reviewing the settlement of policies and regimes for officials, civil servants, and public employees who quit their jobs according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government.

We are assigning a professional department to review. There is probably no problem because in the process of implementation, the dossiers have also been made very tightly" - said the leader of the Nghe An Department of Home Affairs.

According to the leader of the Department of Home Affairs, previously, the process of reviewing and appraising dossiers of cases of early retirement and resignation was carried out in many steps. Through review, Nghe An has not yet detected errors related to subjects and dossiers for settling regimes.

Previously, Nghe An had completed the appraisal, approval and issuance of decisions for 2,739 cadres, civil servants, and public employees who retired early, resigned according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP and amended and supplemented regulations. The appraisal and issuance of decisions were completed before August 30, 2025.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has approved more than 2,748 billion VND to implement regimes and policies for the above-mentioned cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

According to the report of the State Treasury of Region XI, the payment of regimes for cases in Nghe An was then completed according to schedule. Separately, funds from the local budget were disbursed to 2,730 subjects with an amount of more than 2,748 billion VND.

Nghe An's continued review is carried out in the context of the Ministry of Home Affairs requesting ministries, branches, and localities to conduct a general review of the settlement of policies and regimes according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP, based on the audit results and directions of the Government.

According to requirements, agencies and localities must inspect the identification of subjects, conditions, dossiers, order, procedures and implementation costs, and promptly handle cases where violations are detected; report the results to the Ministry of Home Affairs before September 15, 2026.

Through sample audits at a number of ministries, central agencies and localities, the State Audit Office discovered some existing dossiers such as lack of basis, incorrect identification of subjects or inaccurate calculation of benefits. Nghe An is not on the list of 10 localities mentioned in this sample audit result.
